COVID-19 Protocols

The priority at my practice during the pandemic is health and safety. Please stay home if you feel sick. I will do the same. Please take a two-week quarantine if you have participated in any social gatherings of more than ten people at which social distancing or mask-wearing was not practiced prior to scheduling an appointment with me. The same guidelines apply if you have been exposed to an active case of COVID-19 or if you have traveled to any of the states for which there is a quarantine period.

I am required to follow certain protocols in my practice during the COVID-19 pandemic. They are as follows:

  1. I will call within 24 hours of our scheduled session to review symptoms of COVID-19.

  2. Upon your arrival to my location, call or text to let me know you have arrived. I will meet you at the back door to the building (west side). Please wear a mask. If you do not have a mask, I can provide one.  We will be wearing masks during our entire session.

  3. I will take your temperature and ask a series of questions. You’ll sign and date a corresponding form. Please let me know if you would like me to send the form to you in advance.

  4. We will sanitize our hands either in a bathroom or with hand sanitizer.

  5. I will be following strict sanitizing protocols between clients including surface cleaning, social distancing between clients and implementation of a filtration system prior to, during and after each session.

  6. Water is the only liquid refreshment permitted in the office.

  7. You must come alone during the pandemic unless you are the guardian of a client who is a minor. We can discuss options if you are a family seeking treatment. While my office has a waiting room and a treatment room, due to pandemic restrictions, I’m currently using only one room.

  8. Until the pandemic has passed, all sessions may be paid at the time of service with cash or check. Credit card payments will be billed online, or may be paid in person following the session.
